The NBA preseason has been canceled. A new collective bargaining agreement has not been reached with the National Basketball Players Association.

(Raleigh, NC) – The National Basketball Association announced yesterday that the entire 114-game preseason schedule has been canceled because a new collective bargaining agreement has not been reached with the National Basketball Players Association. As a result the Oct. 19 game between the Charlotte Bobcats and Miami Heat at the RBC Center will not be played.

Tickets purchased from Ticketmaster by phone or online will automatically be refunded on the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Those who purchased tickets at a Ticketmaster outlet or the RBC Center box office will need to return the tickets to the point of purchase, during regular business hours.
