A new feature for 2013 is the introduction of American style bull fighting, where the rodeo clowns or “cowboy lifesavers” pit their agility and skill against specially bred rodeo “fighting” bulls. The competition is scored and the object is to get as close as possible to these fast and cantankerous bulls without getting gored (or “hooked” as they call it in rodeo vernacular) – it is new to Raleigh and is sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats.

There is something for everyone – from top cowboys on the famous World’s Toughest bulls and horses, to the fast barrel racing cowgirls, to the wild antics of the rodeo clowns - It’s the World’s Toughest Rodeo - an exciting spectacle families won’t soon forget.
